Individual Counseling
We provide individual sessions for students to assist with a variety of emotional and social concerns. The primary purpose of these sessions is to help students explore their concerns, set wellbeing targets, and work through the students' needs until targets are met. When more in depth work is necessary, the wellbeing department will refer to outside agencies and collaborate with them. The counseling service is utilized by parents, teachers, school staff and pupils who make use of our open door policy on a daily basis.

Group counselingGroup counseling allows students to share ideas about specific issues, such as peer relationships, conflict resolution, as well as helping them use these ideas to resolve their concerns. Group sessions involve a small group of students led by a well being teacher and meet once a week for six consecutive weeks. Students gain personal confidence and social skills by learning to empathize with and help one another.

Classroom wellbeing
Classroom interventions can take many forms but most involve the use of Circle Time. Circle time is used to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of our pupils. Class interventions may be used to achieve a specific target such as resolving a dispute or as part of a more general aim such as inclusion.
