Four of our pupils took the initiative to organise a sale over the weekend and gave all their earnings to promote peace. Thank you girls, that was so thoughtful of you! The money will be sent to the NGO "Relief and Reconciliation for Syria" who have a peace centre in northern Lebanon to take care of Syrian refugee children. A big thank you to Marilie and Juliette Vanslingelandt, Nonny Haines and Stella Peackok in 5B and 3C |

To learn more about the great Peace One Day initiative take a few minutes to watch the inspiring link below: Goodness me! We are back at school again. I really hope you all had a great time visiting your home countries, experiencing new places or indeed enjoying the hidden pleasures of a summer in Dubai.
The Well being team is back and ready to commence another packed year of whole school PSHE assemblies, class, group and individual well being work. You can look forward to hearing about Promoting Acts of Kindess, Saying No to Bullying, Safer Internet Day and much more. Both of us have been looking at some very interesting child psychology topics to cover as week-long initiatives within the school and we are currently doing our research for parent coffee mornings on the subjects of Digital Safety and Enhancing Self-esteem and Confidence. Maybe you have some ideas of your own that you’d like to suggest? We’d love to hear from you! For now, Well being would just like to say, ‘Work hard, try your best and most of all have fun for the next school year at JPS. We learn better when we enjoy ourselves, so smile and get stuck in!' |
Welcome!Supporting all JPS children and their families to help them reach their full potential. Archives
